GETTING AROUND
Lummi Island is full of natural beauty, from mountain hikes to an easy 7-mile bike loop around the island.
If you are up for a hike, check out any of the 4 Nature Preserves managed by the Heritage Trust.
All Heritage Trust preserves
do not allow bikes on the trails.

BEACH ACCESS
Most beaches in the area are private, so you’ll need to follow our guidance on where to launch your kayaks and SUPs. The main launch point is just a short walk from the store, at Grangers Beach—a private spot we have permission to use.

If you're planning to catch the sunset, head over to Sunset Beach on the west shore. It's a public beach, and we can deliver your kayaks directly there.

Additionally, if you're renting a house, check if it offers beach access, and we can deliver gear to your rental.

Please note: we’ll always assess the weather, tides, and wind conditions to ensure your safety. Sometimes this means we may not be able to let you go out. If that happens, you’ll receive a full refund—no questions asked.
